The victim is being hypnotically influenced by their own inner messages from the past. They elect the oppressor as source, but they themselves keep creating what it is they suffer from. It needs to be continuously put there, otherwise the effect would diminish.
Nobody can make a victim. The crushing personality does not make victims. He finds them – or rather they find him. What he is doing suits something in their personality.
Nobody can be bullied for years unless they choose to be. He or she would simply leave. Everyone’s belief that they stay because they “can’t leave” due to bullying is merely a fallacy that prevents resolution of the problem.
This is line with a higher spiritual principle, which is that you get what you believe and not the other way round. Most people come to think they believe something is so because all the evidence points to it. In fact the evidence (experience) a person collects is manufactured by their belief!
Probably the only time you can make a victim is early childhood, where you can overwhelm the being. Its conscious mechanisms in the new body do not function well at first. That’s probably where all our major patterns begin.
There has to be agreement. This unpalatable truth is not taught in the current rash of “victim” books.
Labeling someone a victim isn’t an insult; it’s merely a statement that a person is making that someone else is to blame for something they themselves are creating.
